Scholarships

Every student now qualifies for a state scholarship which greatly reduces your cost for tuition. A combination of EdChoice Expansion with the Angel Scholarship or the Diocese Tuition Assistance can further reduce the amount of tuition owed, if any.

Angel Scholarship

The Angel Scholarship is available through the Catholic Community Foundation. This scholarship, on top of the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship, can possibly reduce the amount of tuition you owe to zero.

 Jon Peterson Scholarship  

St. Edward School is a Jon Peterson Provider. The Jon Peterson Scholarship provides funding for tuition and services for students with special needs who are on an individualized education plan.

Diocese and/or Parish Financial Needs-Based Assistance

Application is completed online through FACTS. (See financial aid on our website – www.stedwardashland.org)  There is a fee per family to apply. The same application will be used by St. Edward School to assess assistance through our Tuition Angel Fund. Awards for needs-based financial assistance will be made to eligible families. Please apply before March 15, for the upcoming school year. 

Tuition Information

If You Owe Tuition, You May Choose One of Three Ways to Pay the Tuition. You May Pay the Total Amount Due in One Sum or You May Go Through Facts Management Company and Make Monthly Payments. You May Also Choose to Pay Some of the Tuition in Cash and the Balance With Facts Management Company.

Tuition Refund Policy

Once a student registers at St. Edward School a spot has been reserved for him/her and that tuition amount has been added to the budget. Therefore, the policy is this: once a student begins a semester the parents are responsible for paying for the semester (tuition for half the year). Exceptions will be made when the parents' work requires the family to move, and it is no longer possible to attend the school.

Tuition Angels

Consider helping parents who desire a Catholic education for their children. The Tuition Angel program may be just for you! Become a Tuition Angel by donating to part or all of a child's tuition. See the current tuition rates above. Donations can be as large or small as desired to cover multiple tuitions or a part of one child's tuition. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Your gift can be mailed to St. Edward School and marked St. Edward School/Tuition Angel.
